Welcome to CBGameDesigns.
My name is Caleb and welcome to my website! A few years ago my buddy Vince invited me join him and some friends for a tabletop game night that he was hosting at his house. I had played classic board games like Monopoly, Risk, and a few party games, but I had never really gotten into how good games could be. He introduced me to wargames, rpgs, and many modern tabletop games that I had never heard of before. Suddenly, it seemed like my childhood ideas for video games that I didn't have the skill to develop could be made possible on the tabletop.
My first game, a tabletop mecha skirmish game, has been in development for a couple of years. I'm currently working on Version 3 of the Alpha and I'm hoping to get into Beta testing in mid to late 2025. The work-in-progress name for this game is Giant Battle Robots, and this website will serve as a blog to keep you updated on the game's continued development.
I have so many other game ideas bursting from my imagination onto my notebook, so I'll also let you know if any of those make it past the early playtesting stages and into development. Join my email list so you'll be the first to know when I share updates about my games.
